There is also enough parking for a couple of cars at the Moody Street entrance to the
Gorge Trail 400 marker.

Nice day. Overcast but dry and mid 60's. Some people but not a lot.
The trailhead next to the Bridge of the Gods toll booth is open again
(but you need a NW Forest pass to park there). Follow the PCT South, past
the power lines. This is a well worn and well marked trail. It's not possible
to get lost if you stay on the trail. When you get to the bridge over Dry Creek
do not cross it (yet).

Take a right and go up the steep dirt road for 0.2 miles
and the road will end at Dry Creek Falls which is a nice, magical waterfall.

Now go back down the hill and cross the bridge over Dry Creek. You'll come across
a few moss covered talus fields, several nice views of the Gorge and even another
waterfall!

That's Greenleaf Peak across the Columbia River and the town of Stevenson, Washington.

We came across these three monoliths that looked like they might be interesting.
But.... no view from them at all. Just interesting basalt formations.

In another mile or so you come up to an unnamed waterfall. This one is much more
impressive and magical than this picture would indicate.

There's still snow up in the mountains. That's Greenleaf on the right and
Table mountain to the left.

The PCT forks near Herman Creek about 6 miles from the Cascade Locks Trailhead.
This is where we decided to turn around. Nice hike....
