In 2010 we were out to Lost Lake



It was a bright, sunny but very cold ride down I-84 until we got to
Hood River. But then it started warming up.
It never really got that warm riding but walking around it was
sometimes downright hot.



The gate at Lost Lake is still closed but the day use area was open for walking
around. The route to Lost Lake is well signed and Forest Road 31 is paved and
mostly in good shape. Some loose gravel and debris on the road but it is a mostly
easy ride on a motorcycle.

Pretty rare for the road out here to be completely now free so early.
