I'm sure I have had a worse Christmas than this one, but I can't remember when that
would be. Luckily, I have Eloise who loves me even though
I'm a horrible person
(according to the rest of the world....).
Maybe Christmas 2014 will be better? I don't want to even think about what
a worse Christmas would be like.
I was really looking forward to a nice Thanksgiving and Christmas for Eloise.
Usually, when I have a crappy holiday, I can see it coming a mile away. Not
this time... pretty much blindsided me. Note to self: depend on no one. They
can, and probably will, pull the rug out from you with no notice and for
reasons that are only known to them.
Oh well. There's always Thanksgiving and Christmas 2014, right?
Eloise is all snuggled up on Christmas Eve.
